Anderson Love Senior was born August 27th 1936, in Washington DC with his twin sister Ann. One of Three sets of twins, out of 11 children to Sally Mae and Willy love. A loud kind man, great role model and loving husband and father. He moved to Philadelphia when he was nine years old and attended Philadelphia Public schools. Once he got into high school in the ninth grade, he dropped out to help take care of his family. He started working at the age of 17 on the construction of the Broad St. Subway. Once the construction was done he would go to other construction sites to work on the builds of Philadelphia, including with construction of the Vine Street bridges. He met his wife Rosa Fields in 1954. They dated for two months and realized how much they loved each other and then got married. Their marriage lasted for 69 years, six months, two weeks, and one day. They have four sons and one daughter from this union of marriage proceeding him in death, one daughter Teresa and three sons Ira, Tony and Rodney. He decided to become a boxer at one time but didn’t finish his career in it because he said he didn’t want to get hurt. Also, he was security for several radio personalities and celebrities at WDAS Radio station , to a point where a lot of the celebrities would come to our family home, sometimes even stayed the night. Furthermore, he decided to become a businessman. He had several stores and businesses throughout his life. In 1996 he decided to retire and just spend all his time with his loving wife Rosa. They enjoyed listening to gospel music together, they loved life, laughing, family and most of all the EAGLES! But the one thing they loved was being with each other.
Anderson was survived by his loving wife Rosa, his name sake Anderson Jr, one daughter Tonya, grandchildren, Keona, Anderson III, Tyesha, Candice, Anthony, Michael, Samarra, Rodney, Joshua, Misty, Matthew, and Donnie and a host of more, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
