Charlene Thomson, 81, a three year resident of Immaculate Mary Home in Philadelphia, PA, lost her battle with Alzheimer's disease on the morning of May 25, 2016.
She loved to sing and dance, vacation in Wildwood, tell stories, enjoy coffee and chocolate, but, most of all, spend time with family and friends. When she lost her ability to speak, her gift to the residents and staff at Immaculate Mary was the humming of 'O Christmas Tree' for them. She will be greatly missed by all.
Charlene is preceded in death by husband James Thomson and survived by children, Charlene Thomson, Donna Hardee (late spouse Robert), Eileen Thomson, James Thomson, and her two granddaughters, Angela Hardee and Merissa Hardee.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Charlene's life on Tuesday May 31st at Immaculate Mary Home, 2990 Holme Ave Philadelphia, PA, 19136. Her viewing will begin at 8:30 AM followed by her funeral mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. #102, Philadelphia, PA, 19106. Share your fondest memories at McCaffertysweeneyfuneralhome.com
