Charles May

May, Charles R., age 74 of Philadelphia on October 2, 2015. Son of the late Charles May and Marie May (nee Granato). Brother of the late Jean E. Kady (nee May) and the late Annamarie Mountain (nee May). Survived by his children Bryan P. May and Erinne E. May (Joshua) Reed and his grandson Julian. A lifelong Philadelphia resident, Charles was a proud graduate of Roman Catholic High School (Class of 1959) and St. Joseph's University (Class of 1963). Charles was an avid history buff, swimmer and St. Joe's basketball fan. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday October 22nd, after 10 AM in Ivy Hill Cemetery 1201 Easton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19150. Religious Service and entombment will begin at 10:30 AM. Charles' family will greet friends and family from 10 AM to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging Emergency Fund,642 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130 are warmly appreciated.
