Claire Mchugh

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Claire McHugh (nee Graham) on January 3, 2020. She was 90 years young. Her loving husband, Joseph, preceded Claire in death. Claire and Joseph were a beautiful couple that lived a wonderful life raising their children together in Philadelphia. Claire was a devoted mother to her four loving children, Patrice Willmunder (Richard), Joanne Dewees (James), Michael McHugh, and Joseph F. McHugh Jr. (Lisa). She was also a devoted grandmother to Richard (Catherine), Michele, Patrick (Jacqueline), Joseph (Amanda), and Shannon (Cristian). She loved her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Layla, Dashiell, and Logan, to whom she was affectionately known as G.G. Claire lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family in North Cape May, New Jersey. Her favorite pastime was holding conversations with family and friends. She loved to talk to people about her life experiences and listen to theirs. Relatives and friends are invited to Claire's viewing on Tuesday evening January 7th from 6 PM to 8 PM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations 6126 Torresdale Avenue and Wednesday morning January 8th from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM in Our Lady of Consolation Church 7056 Tulip Street.
