David Usle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Lee Uslé , who departed this life on December 17, 2024 and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Born on March 22, 1948, to Angelo and Doris, in Philadelphia, where he served as a dedicated Police Officer and Detective for 19 years. David was known for his kindness, warmth and presence that left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.  David is survived by his loving daughters Valerie (Brian) Maier, Marlene Uslé and Jenna Uslé (Dan O’Donnell). Brothers Dennis Uslé and Kevin Uslé, grandchildren Katelyn (Jeff) Nashwick, Brian Maier, Shawn, Shane and Daniel McKenna, great grandchildren Colton and Savannah Nashwick.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday January 4th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations, located at 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia PA 19137 (Plenty of parking located on-site). All are welcome to join us in honoring his memory and the love he brought into our lives.  Words of Remembrance begin 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to any nonprofit animal rescue organization, a cause that was close to David’s heart.
