Born June 3, 1964 to late MaryLou Ellen Romberger and late Edward Hume. He is survived by his mom Kathleen Hume who raised him since he was 3 years old. Devoted Dad of Heather and Lindsey. Proud Pop of Jayla, Jaicee and John. Also survived by his brothers Scott and Todd and sisters Kimberly and late Joy. He will also be deeply missed by all of his many friends, nieces, nephews and sadly missed by his buddy Jackson.
Those who knew him would best describe him as loving, compassionate and extremely strong. Dean loved to cook on his Blackstone and hang out on his patio with his best buddy Jackson. He enjoyed going to the beach with his daughters and grandchildren. He was the king of roasting marshmallows and made sure he taught his grandchildren how to make perfect roasted marshmallow! Dean’s precious life has ended far too soon but there was no shortage of love, laughter and memories shared with him throughout the years. These memories, experiences and pictures will be cherished by his family forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Friday morning June 28th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at the Slabinski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia. His prayer service will begin at 10:30 AM and entombment will follow in Hatboro Cemetery. Luncheon at Dagwoods Pub 4625 Linden Ave Philadelphia
