It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane L. Greene on April 20, 2025. Diane was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her spirit, warmth, and fierce strength will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
Diane was the loving mother of five children: the late Timothy Greene, Stephanie Cruz, Anthony Gentile, Linaliz Gentile, and Tiffany Greene. She was also a devoted grandmother to Mikaylah, Colton, EllaRae, Isabella, Kayden, Mason, Anthony, Jahari, and Omari. Diane’s love for her family knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on through each of them.
As a sister, Diane was deeply loved by Pj, Sue, David, and Kelly, and her bond with her siblings was unbreakable. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, offering love, guidance, and support to each of them in her own unique way.
Diane was a fierce and independent woman who never backed down from a challenge. She had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. Her passions included playing Bingo, enjoying a cold Pepsi, and immersing herself in Lifetime movies. She had a special fondness for the color purple and never passed up a late-night snack.
Though Diane’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who loved her, her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her son Timothy, her mother, and other cherished relatives in heaven. While they wish she could have stayed longer with them, they are at peace knowing she is no longer in pain.
Diane’s love, strength, and infectious spirit will never be forgotten. May her memory continue to bring light and love to those who had the honor of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and celebration of her life on Sunday April 27th from 10:30 AM to 12 noon at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations 2614 Orthodox Street.
