DONALD on Nov. 30, 2016. Beloved husband of Margarita, loving father of Alexander (Zdenka), and Gregory, dear grand-daddy of Magdalena and Anna. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was a proud graduate and 35 year faculty member of the Curtis Institute of Music, and awarded their first honorary doctorate and 48 year member of the Philadelphia Orchestra. His legacy includes principal clarinetists throughout the world and he truly created an indelible imprint on the "Philadelphia sound". Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM in Old St. Joseph's Church, 321 Willings Alley, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Funeral Mass will begin 10 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to the Phila. Chamber Ensemble, The Phila. Orchestra or to StJude.org would be appreciated by his family.
