Edward Cyrankowski, 82, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. Ed is preceded in death by his parents Felicia and Francis Cyrankowski and two sisters, Dorothy Hettinger and Frances Harvey. He is survived by the love of his life, Irma, and his eight children, Debbie DeLeo and her husband, Bill, Eddie Cyrankowski, Linda Seiberlich and her husband Russell, Pat Markuszka and her husband, Tom, Bruce Cyrankowski, Laura Everitt and her husband Walt, Paula Wiley, and Jennifer Cyrankowski, 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing pool and crosswords and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed going to the casinos and down the shore. He was a longtime customer of the Athenian and had many friends there. He was known as "Big Ed" by his coworkers at the post office. Ed had a huge presence both physically and with his family. He loved taking Sunday drives and spending time with his family. He was forever serenading his wife, children and grandchildren with his booming baritone voice. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday November 3rd 10-11 AM in Our Lady of Ransom Church 6700 Roosevelt Boulevard (please park in church parking lot). Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM.
