Beloved husand of Catherine (nee McDevitt), devoted father of Marie Golden (Bobby), Michael (Trish), Cynthia Progner (Bob), James (Nancy), Vincent (Tami), and the late Anthony, brother of Joan Southee, Michael, and the late Shirley Maher. Loving grandfather of Ryan (Nicole), Kyle (Lindsey), Shawna, Michael, Daniel, Victoria, Erica, Hayley, and Addison; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Wally was proud of his family, his friends, his service to his country, and the men he served with on the USS Carter Hall LSD3.
