Elizabeth ""Betty Ann"" McMenamin, age 69, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, after a protracted illness.Betty Ann (Born July 10, 1953) lived the entirety of her life in the Wissinoming neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. She earned her education at St. Bartholomew's School, St. Hubert's High School for Girls and the James Martin School of Nursing. Betty Ann became a Licensed Practical Nurse and served that profession with kindness and compassion for many years. A gregarious woman, Betty Anne maintained lifelong relationships with a wide circle of friends and enjoyed travel opportunities.Betty Ann is preceded in death by her father, John A. McMenamin, her mother, Elizabeth K. (nee Kelly) McMenamin, brother James L. McMenamin, brother John A. McMenamin, brother-in-law Ronald F. Connors and sisters-in-law Janice L. (nee Minitola) McMenamin and Elizabeth (nee McAlister) McMenamin.She is survived by brothers Daniel P. McMenamin, Terence J. McMenamin, Francis D. McMenamin, sister Marie (nee McMenamin) Connors, sisters-in-law Anne (nee McGinley) McMenamin, Janet (nee Haas), Melissa (nee McGuckin) McMenamin, Orbetta G. (nee Spreitzer) McMenamin and her many beloved nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend her viewing on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 9:30 A.M. at St. Bartholomew's Church, 5600 Jackson Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. (Please park you car and enter the church using the parking lot located behind the church off of Cheltenham Avenue)Attendees are invited to a luncheon at a venue to be announced at the conclusion of the service.
