Frank L. Thompson

Frank L. Thompson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Husband of Mary Thompson, beloved and devoted father of Anthony (Erin), Nina(Bill), Christopher, Alexandra and Samantha. Affectionately known as Pop to his grandchildren. 

Frank made an amazing career in the Marine Corp and was a recipient of a Purple Heart and many other awards. He worked many years for the Unites States postal service where he later retired. Frank loved his Philadelphia sports teams, his advocacy for Veterans and being down the Jersey shore with his family. Frank was loved by many and will be forever missed. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday October 30th from 11 AM to 1 PM at Slabinski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street, Bridesburg. Words of remembrance will begin 1 PM and his burial will take place privately at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
