George P. Monahan passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024 at the age of 67. Born on July 17, 1957 in Philadelphia PA, George lived a life filled with love, laughter and adventure most recently residing in Largo, FL and North Wildwood, NJ. 

George dedicated 37 years of his life to a rewarding career at PECO Energy where he was known for his hard work and dedication. He was a loving husband to his wife Bridget with whom he shared countless joyful moments.

George was known for his friendly and outgoing personality, often bringing joy to those around him with his wonderful witty sense of humor. He cherished time spent golfing, fishing, and enjoying days at the beach. Trips to Disney and exploring different areas of Florida were some of his favorite pastimes.

He is survived by his loving wife Bridget; daughters Megan and Meredith; brother Charles (Karen); and sister Patricia (James) Burke. George's legacy of love and laughter will be cherished by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate George’s life by attending his funeral mass on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Phila., PA. 19136
