Howard Grove

Howard J. Grove of Philadelphia, passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 71. Howard fought bravely against numerous health challenges in his final years and exhibited incredible strength until the very end.

Howard was born on September 26, 1952, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to his late parents Howard and Marian Grove. Throughout his life, Howard was known for his passion of deep-sea fishing and riding around on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Howard was a devoted family man. He built a beautiful life with his loving wife Doreen and was truly proud to be not only her husband but also the father of Leigh Grove, Stephanie Goslin (Daniel), and the late Michael Goslin. Their love created a strong foundation that lasted through thick and thin.

Also a proud grandfather, nothing brought more joy to Howard's heart than being called "Pop" by his grandchildren: Damian, Arianna, Mia, and Christian.

Howard's memory will also forever be cherished by his siblings Marian, Kate, and Eddie.

In honoring Howard's life, a memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023, at the Slabinski Funeral Home located at 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, PA 19137 (valet parking on premises). His gathering will begin at 10AM and conclude at 11AM.

Howard Grove will forever be remembered for his sarcastic and witty humor and most importantly, for his tremendous love for his family. As we say farewell to this remarkable individual, may we find solace in the memories shared and find comfort in the knowledge that he lived a life filled with passion and love. Rest peacefully, Howard Grove.
