Howard Clayton Pruyn

PRUYNHOWARD CLAYTON, formerly of Phila., on September 1, 2015. Survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Glenn (Laura), Scott, Colleen Henneberry (Tom); grandson, Kevin; brothers, Richard (Barbara), Kenneth (Emily) and loving nieces and nephews. Howard grew up in Frankford in his family's ball-bearing business and served as President of Pruyn Bearings until 1993. In 1973 he founded and operated the Diving Bell Scuba Shop, next door to Pruyn Bearings and was a NAUI and PADI SCUBA Instructor for over 40 years, and was a proud member of the Phila. SeaHorses Dive Club which survives today, meeting monthly at Scuba-delphia Dive Shop in NE Phila.
