James R. Harley

James R. Harley, Sr. passed away unexpectedly October 31, 2022, peacefully in his home in Philadelphia. The beloved partner of Joan Dugan for over 30 years, he is survived by his son, James R. Harley, Jr., daughter Tina Harley, sister Carolyn Humphries, sister Catherine Ranaldi, brother Robert Harley, he is the brother of the late John Harley, and also survived by three grandchildren Audrey and Amelia Harley, and Kayla Retallick, and several nieces and nephews. A life long Philadelphia resident, and U. S. Army veteran, he was the dedicated Commander of the Harrowgate American Legion Post 78, where he leaves behind many lifelong friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday November 4, 2022 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox Street.
