Jane Alice Cannon, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023. She was 81 years old. Born on May 11, 1942, Jane was the oldest child of Bernard Francis Donahue, Jr., and Caroline Supranowicz Donahue.  She was the beloved wife of the Late Francis P. Cannon.

Jane will be forever remembered as a woman of tremendous love and devotion. She is survived by her two sons, Francis Patrick Cannon (Joleen) and Matthew B Cannon (Kristen). A loving mother who always put her family first, Jane cherished her role as a mother and poured her heart into raising her sons with love and care.

Her grandchildren held a special place in Jane's heart. She adored Mikayla, Gabrielle, and Vanessa Cannon with all her being. Their laughter filled her days with joy and their sweet presence brought warmth to her soul.

Jane's siblings were not only family but also dear friends. Mary Margaret Donahue Heavey (Philip) was her beloved sister whom she shared many treasured moments with. She was preceeded in death by her siblings, Rose Helen Donahue Beshel, Francis Beshel and Bernard "Buzz" Vincent Donahue (Wendy).

Jane's cheerful spirit extended beyond immediate family. She touched the lives of countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews who will dearly miss the unique bond they had with their beloved aunt. Her kindness knew no bounds as she made everyone feel valued and loved.

Jane's kindhearted nature extended to all she encountered. Her love knew no boundaries, as she consistently offered a helping hand to those in need. She embodied compassion and empathy, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to join in remembering Jane at her viewing and funeral, which will take place on Friday, December 1, 2023. The viewing will begin at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Calvary Catholic Church 11024 Knights Road, Phila., PA, followed by her funeral Mass at 12 noon. Jane will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. 

Jane Alice Cannon will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and generosity. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. Although we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and honor the incredible woman she was.

May Jane find eternal peace in the loving embrace of the Lord, knowing that her legacy of love will endure for generations to come.
