John J. Adamski, jr.

John J. Adamski, Jr. left this world and went to his final resting place on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Maryanne O'Malley. He was the son of Anne and the late John Adamski, Sr. and brother of Anne Mary Kluska (Stan), Regina Donnelly (Tom), and Michael Adamski (Lindsay) and will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephew, Kylee Kluska, Jaclyn Donnelly, Samantha Donnelly and Cooper Kluska. He will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and life-long friends. A celebration of John's life will be held on Thursday January 6th at St. Anne's Church, 2328 E. Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA where his family and friends are invited to his viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately. John was born on October 11th, 1975 and lived most of his life in Port Richmond. He is a graduate of St. Anne's Catholic Grade School (class of 1989), Roman Catholic High School (class of 1993) and studied English at LaSalle University. John was a gifted, self-taught musician, who most enjoyed his time behind a drum kit. He was also skilled at playing the guitar and piano. He had a passion for all types of music and loved attending performances of the Philadelphia Orchestra. In his professional life, he thoroughly enjoyed his career in the restaurant industry and became a very accomplished "chef" in his own right. John will be remembered as a fun loving, compassionate soul, with a heart of gold. He will be sorely missed by everyone who ever met him, but especially by his family and high school sweetheart, Maryanne.
