Joseph Andrew Kemp Sr., age 78, passed away on April 25, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Charlotte A Becker, children, Joseph A Kemp Jr. (Stephanie) Morristown, PA, Diana L. Talsania (Jay) Fogelsville, PA, Carolyn G Kester (Kevin) St. Simons Island GA, Karen P. Livezey (Kevin) Chalfont, Pa, John Kemp (Karen) Souderton PA, Charlene Becker O’Neil (Todd) Philadelphia, and Christine Becker Hnatkowsky (Mike) Philadelphia.
Also survived by 17 grandchildren, Griffin, Jocelyn, Alec, Brooke, Mackenzie, Grace, Mia, Maddie, CJ, Maggie, Gabe, Ida June, Matt, Miranda, Michael, Alexis, Kaitlyn, his brother Stan Kemp (Kathy) and was predeceased by his brother Gene Kemp and sister Kathy Connel.
He was a Lincoln HS, graduate in Philadelphia, PA. class of 63, attended Lasalle University and
worked as an Account Controller and attended Nativity of Our Lord in Warminster PA.
Avid fisherman, hunter, woodworker, and gardener. Enjoyed baking pies, canning jam, cooking, and grilling. Loved the mountains and being on a boat in the bay. What gave him so much pride and joy was what he loved most-adoring his children and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday April 30th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish, 605 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. His funeral mass will begin 11 AM and his interment will be held privately. A celebration of his life will be held in Joe’s home after his funeral mass.
