Kathleen Dalton

Kathleen Dalton (O'Donnell) age 65, passed away peacefully August 20, 2024. She was born June 20, 1959 to Kathleen (Shields) and Stephen O'Donnell. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she lived her entire life. The first of 8 children, Kathleen is survived by her siblings: Stephen (Dot) O’Donnell, Theresa O’Donnell, Joseph (Colleen) O’Donnell, Denise (Joe) Weiler, Colleen (Joe) Bucci, Kelly Ann (Ed) Haas, Thomas (Jen) O’Donnell.

Kathy is predeceased by her loving husband, William Dalton. She is remembered by her children William (Astrid), Matthew, Brittany (Tim) Hollawell, and step-daughter Dana (Ed) Stempinski. Mommom Dalton loved spending time with her grandchildren: Natalie, Sophie, Katie, Timmy, and Teagan.

Kathleen is from a large, loving Irish family and mix of friends. She was an amazing mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many people that she cherished. There are too many people to mention but she especially enjoyed the love and support she received from her Aunt Mary Grace (Kevin) Otto, friend Kathleen (Tom) Lavelle, and sister-in-law Cathy Dalton.

Kathleen graduated from Cardinal Dougherty where she was a proud member of the drill team. She was a dedicated Administrative Assistant at Shriners Hospital for many years. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to a charity of your choice.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and greet her family on Wednesday August 28th from 9:30 AM in St. Albert the Great Church 212 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley PA. Funeral Mass will begin 10:30 AM and burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
