Louis Averill, Jr.

Louis J Averill Jr. “Louie” passed away October 26, 2024.

Louie was the dear dad of Ryan And Connor Averill. Sadly missed by his loving mom Peggy Averill Kelly, step dad Jim Kelly “Kel”, sisters Megan Heston (Chris), Katrina Schmidt (Jeremy), nephews and niece Thomas Heston, Bowen and Breena Schmidt. Also survived by four stepbrothers, Jim, Jason, Kevin, Mike and by Patricia McDermott, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

Lou was the loving son of the late Louis J. Averill Sr., who he missed so very much. He was a lover of Philly sports and Penn Sate. He grew up in Northwood, played baseball for Simpson playground and became a great pitcher. He had many friends, was funny, charismatic and loved music of all genres. 

Lou - You are loved and will be missed so much.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday November 6th from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Slabinski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street. Words of Remembrance will begin 10:30 AM.
