Madlyn Patricia Scott

Madlyn Patricia Scott, at the early age of 75 had unexpectedly passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Madlyn was born May 4, 1946, to her maiden name Madlyn Patricia Ellingsworth. She had her two children Nicole Scott and Francis Scott whom she loved dearly and all 4 of her grandkids. Throughout the years Madlyn had many jobs where she had proven her like-fulness and made many friends along the way. She was always seen with a smile and a willingness to talk your ear off with anything that came to mind. Madlyn had many hats: Mom, Gram, Madlyn, Pat, Aunt Pat, Gram-Cracker, Grammy Squirrel, she went by many names but she meant everything to everyone. You never met someone who didn't enjoy her company or time after being around her. She meant more than the world to a lot of people and she will truly be missed by many. We've all been through so much, good times and bad, but Madlyn always knew how to keep someone smiling. We all remember you Singing and dancing to Rod Stewart and swinging your "HOT LEG" around or Patsy Cline and making the grandkids put on performances of "walking after midnight" in your small apartment. Ordering Chinese food and threatening to come down to them in your pajamas because they got the order wrong. Throwing your prosthetic leg over the joy stick in the car to drive us to the mummers shows every weekend. Smoking your huge misty 120s which were longer than your fingers. Spending every moment getting on your daughters nerves. Yelling at every guy on a motorcycle "can I ride" and laughing. Everything was an enjoyment with you, you were the light in all of our lives The world is just dimmer without you around. We wish you were still with us, but so forever grateful and hopeful that you are in a better place. The family loves you always! Gone but NEVER forgotten.
