Margaret Leona Newell

Margaret Leona Newell (Baehr) of Philadelphia PA sadly passed away on February 10, 2021 and is survived by her mother Margaret Baehr and is the daughter of the late Carl Baehr.
She is survived by her devoted sons George King (Mary), Kevin and Thomas Newell and is the mother of the late Shawn King,; also survived by her siblings Carl, Bill (Michelle), Alice (Mike) McLaughlin, Ted (Deb) , Chris (Aimee)
3 grandchildren Ryan, Chase, Steven and by many loving relatives, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was born November 24, 1961 in Blenheim New Jersey.
She was a truly a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and will be greatly missed.
She worked in clerical for the city of Philadelphia and multiple other jobs was recently working in restaurant industry.
She grew up in Philadelphia and attended Olney high school.
She enjoyed cooking , and watching her children's sporting events. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday February 17th from 11 AM to 12 noon at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations 6126 Torresdale Avenue. At 12 noon we will be leaving for Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn PA for an outdoor prayer service and burial beginning at 12:30 PM. Please join the family at either or both locations to help celebrate Margaret's life.
