Mary Nelligan

Mary (Kitty) Nelligan • Philadelphia, PAMary (Kitty) Moore Nelligan of Philadelphia, PA and formerly of Staunton, VA passed away on March 27, 2017 at home. She was the daughter of the late Everette S. and Mary Smith Moore. She is survived by four daughters: Judy Mayo, Shirley Nelligan, Laura Nelligan, and Rose Marie Szyper (who was her loving caregiver). She is also survived by one son, Bruce Nelligan, three sisters (Juanita Poole, Joyce McCrory, and Nannette Dedrick), one brother, Newton William Moore and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters (Gloria Cannon and Nancy Nelligan), four brothers (Sam, Bob, Jim and Don Moore). Funeral services were held on March 31, 2017 at McCafferty Sweeney Funeral Home (6126 Torresdale Ave. Philadelphia, PA).
