MaryAnne C. Creedon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our family matriarch, MaryAnne C. Creedon (Nee Hayes) of North Wildwood, NJ on January 10, 2025, at the age of 87. MaryAnne passed peacefully in her sleep. MaryAnne was born on May 6, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA., to James and Caroline Hayes (Nee Finchen).
MaryAnne met and married the love of her life, Daniel F. Creedon, in 1956. Together they raised a large and wonderful family in the Juniata neighborhood of Philadelphia. MaryAnne was known for her fire cracker wit and zest for life. She was always the center of attention at any function she attended.
She is survived by her children, James (Joanne), Kevin (Lisa), Karen (John), Linda (Rich) and Michael (Karen). She is also survived by her thriving and happy 15 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, and the Capozzoli Family. She is also remembered and loved by many loving cousins and friends throughout America and back on the Emerald Isle.
MaryAnne is preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel F. Creedon, her adventurous grandson, James R. Sklencar, and ferocious guard dog, Tinker, and loving protector, Goldie.
Please join us in celebrations her life at Holy Innocents Church 1337 E. Hunting Park Ave. Phila., PA 19124 on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9 AM to 10 AM. Funeral Mass will begin 10 AM and interment will be held privately.
