Patricia Ryan

Ryan, Patricia A. (nee Haig), age 57, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away quietly at her home on August 14th, 2016, after a lengthy battle with Liver Cancer. She was escorted Home by Our Heavenly Father, and greeted by her parents, Joseph and Amelia, and her nephew Rob Offenbach; all who preceded her in death. Loving wife of John L. Ryan, devoted mother of Daniel J. Haig and John F. Ryan. Patti is survived by her brother Joseph Haig (Bridget), 2 sisters, Geri Pascale (Joseph) and Helena Muffler (Warren), niece Amelia, nephew Jonathan, and 1 great-niece Rylee. Patti is also survived by many cousins and friends. Patti's faith in God never wavered throughout her illness. Her commitment to AA for 23 years gave her the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, and will be remembered as a bright, shining light; an angel on Earth for many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday evening 6PM to 8PM and Friday morning 8:30AM-9:30AM at the McCafferty-Sweeney Funeral Home 6126 Torresdale Ave. Family and friends are also invited to her Funeral Mass Friday morning 10 AM in Our Lady of Consolation Church (7051 Tulip St.) Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patti's memory may be made to a charity of your choice and would be greatly appreciated.
