William Mcilmail

William McIlmail passed away on July 27, 2016 at St Joseph's Manor in Meadowbrook, PA after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Bill was born in Philadelphia to James and Agnes McIlmail, along with brothers, James (deceased) and Jack. He attended North Catholic High School. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and was a retired captain in the Philadelphia Fire Department.Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen (nee Dolhansky), sons Bill (Susan Arcyznski), Mike (Debbie), Father Edward McIlmail, grandsons Michael(Dorothy), Sean(deceased), granddaughter (Kaitlyn) and great grandchildren Liam, Braden and Emma; brother Jack(Dolores); brother-in-law William Dolhansky and nieces Maureen Kochanek(Stan), and Sharon Biermann(Ken). Also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews. His three great grandchildren lovingly referred to their great grandfather as "Old Pop-Pop."Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, July 30th at 9 AM in the Chapel of St. Joseph's Manor 1616 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, Pa 19046 (215.938.4000).
